  • I called my ISP and they gave me a backup network name and security key, which work fine. I think it was their problem rather than inside the laptop. Good luck ! Richard

The active window vanishes, leaving a frame of a smaller size, but returns with just a small jiggle of the mouse, at a random point on the screen(not the top or bottom bars) and I can resume working normally.   • No, the whole active window, and any other open windows behind it, disappear completely, leaving just the desktop on the screen. As I said, a wiggle of the mouse brings them all back, but it is a pain when it happens in the middle of typing a mesage.
