Yeah, there are 4 USB ports (2 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports). The USB 2.0 ports work, and the mic/speaker ports work, so I am sure it is a loose wire with the USB 3.0 ports on the front (top). Thanks for the reassurance though... I'm a software guy, not a hardware guy so I get skittery on these minor issues sometimes

Disregard, it must be a cable inside. The USB 3.0 ports on the rear of the case work fine, it's just the 2 on top.
