Thanks for the help again. I''ve did everthing as described but still the touchpad isn't working at that one particular line. Besides that it came already with Windows 8.1. I think its a hardware issue. It's just three weeks old, but I can't mis it because i'm writing my thesis!

Thanks for the help so far. But still no improvement. I've installed the software but it doens't seem to recognize the touchpad. I've totally removed the touchpad softwre and reinstalled it. Could it be a faulthy mousepad?
