To change it you should have to do it in UEFI/BIOS settings, but I can't change anything in my BIOS, so it's kind of locked in to 2400MT/s. The N50-650 is a PC, not a laptop. I usually play heavily modded Minecraft. I allocate 12 out of the 16 GB to it, and it hits 100% usage quite often. So an upgrade to 32GB would let me allocate around 28GB, an absolutely massive increase. The "idle" (like only surfing the web) RAM usage is around 40%
