I need to send it in for repair. But they are telling me to back the hard drive up prior to sending it in. I can’t power up the computer to backup the hard drive. If I open it up in order to get at the hard drive will I void the warranty?

Yea I’ve tried power cycling the thing a whole bunch of times. It just refuses to boot up. And obviously because I can’t boot it up I can’t even backup my files before it gets sent in for repair. Thankfully I only owned the laptop for 3 months, and at least I know better than to buy another Acer in the future.
