Finally got it to work! Unplugged the cable modem and router. Checked the ethernet connections. Restarted the modem, then the router, put in the Belkin setup disc in the Acer laptop, and basically setup my wireless network all over again, with a new SSID. This time, it worked OK. Connected my HP Mini laptop wirelessly…

Thanks for your reply. I have rebooted the router (several times) and also restored to factory defaults and set up a new SSID and deleted the old one from the laptop ("Managing wireless networks"), and tried to make a new conection. On the advice of Belkin support, I even changed the type of security. Still doesn't work.…
