  • Ok, thank you. It seems like they lack customer focus somewhere in the chain of software development. I am dissapointed that I can't shut down my computer. The only way to fix this seems to install old intel engine drivers for windows 8.1 then or live with it.
  • Ok, thank you. So the problem is with the Intel Management Engine driver for windows 10. I will try to install Intel Management Engine driver for Windows 8 if I can't find any better sollution. It's really annoying. Shouldn't Windows update or Acer solve this so you can use their hardware with windows 10?
  • I have found out that the problem only exist when I use the extra HDMI/VGA-adaptor. Anyone have any idea what to do? Really frustrating to not be able to shut down the computer properly when I have it plugged in to my projector at home or a big screen when I work.

I just tried to…

It's like the computer can't detect the adapter. As I sad before, with Windows 8.1 the screen froze when I connected the adapter, and when…
  • 1. No 2. Yes, tried that 30 minutes ago. There is a reset button on the back at S7 -392. 3.Version 2.12 4. No, I dont have something at home to mesaure it. It also doesn't work when I let it run on battery... What can I try more?
  • 1. No 2. I can try that, but what I can remember I havent changed anything in the Bios. The adapter worked most of the time before with Windows 8.1, but there was problems even with Windows 8.1. A year ago the network adapter just disappeared as it did now. I had to restore my computer to an erlier date and avoid a certain…
  • Yes, nothing new pops up. It doesn't exist in the network adapter list there either.
