Hi there :-) The backspace key does not work at all, if you highlight yr inputted letters/sentence then press yr delete key it removes them/it. High lighting and then pressing backspace key doesnt remove the highlight or anything it simply doesn't work. :-(.

I will im going to try the can of compressed air trick to see if that works but hey lol :-);-)

Hi there, Yes I tried a system restore to a previous time and a full factory recovery after id backed up. Before i restored my backed up files i tried the backspace button and still the issue remains. Thanks again Finlux :-);-)

Morning, I tried holding down the alt key and typed in 009 on numeric pad...unfortunately still no joy. Once again thank you for yr efforts and help. :-);-)

Indeed Finlux its looking very much like a keyboard fault...a can of compressed air to blow the keys free of any debris, but I carnt see this working either as each key is a sealed unit so it looks. I just hope its not a full keyboard replacement :-(

Im assuming by double clicking you mean pressing certain keys twice or pressing a combination of two keys together twice ( double click) excuse my ignorance lol

Hi there, I've tried a full system back up and restore ie back to factory settings, then before I returned files I tried the backspace button, no good! Then I returned the files and still a non functioning backspace button. Many thanks for the assistance Finlux
