  • Yes, the Toshiba HDD shows up on the Information page of the <F2> BIOS (InsydeH20 Setup Utility). P.S. I tried removing and reinstalling the RAM, but that made no difference -- still locking up the 'acer' logo after powering up.
  • I have disconnected & reconnected the HDD but I get the same thing. I have not done anything with the RAM yet. Are you saying to pull them all together and try rebooting or just disconnect & reconnect and then try again?

  • UPDATE: Sorry about the delayed answer, but after about a day of being stuck on the Acer logo, the laptop magically booted!?   • Yes, I was able to use F2 to get to the 'InsydeH2O Setup Utility' and the Windows Boot Manager & HDD show up in the list of boot priorities.
