  • I don't know, they just said they would release one as I mentioned: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1036750# There is says "Or you can wait until later this year when a downloadable utility tool will be available to update your monitor’s firmware yourself." But I cannot find any more info than this.
  • Didn't Asus claim they release a tool that allows users to do a firmware upgrade by themselfes? Also that thing is out for over a year now, does it take them that long for releasing an update? That would be bad news for the x35/pg35vq as they are inherently different from the PG27UQ as far as I know.
  • As source would be appreciated on this. Also, what would people do that have models without the "patch". As far as I know the users cannot do the firmware update by themselves?
  • Most certainly this is not a VA-Panel issue. BUT every monitor will have this issue nonetheless, be it the Acer X35 or the Asus PG35VQ (Or the one from AOC).
