  • I also tried the driver thing. Didn't work sadly. The charging light is red and remains at 100% charge. I'm scared it's just gonna get to the point where it won't turn back on before I manage to send it off.
  • Sorry for the late response, had some errands to run and currently cannot sleep. Well I would totally calibrate it now, but the bloody laptop turns off when I remove the charger now so that's excellent. I've never seen something combust so quickly. Even with your bog standard battery mistreatment, it should not fail on me…
  • bios version is V1.04 current temp with charger in now is 47 degrees and is pretty much the same without the charger as well
  • Thanks for the response. I'll just give you the specs Acer Predator 15 G9-593, Intel Core i5-6300HQ Quad Core Processor 16GB RAM GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Graphics And yeah I'm using the original charger
  • Update: Battery just died again, and this time the battery capacity is at 26,000mWh. What on earth is happening?
