Uhhh, fixed it. Stared at the old monitor, said hmmmm. Grabbed the cable from it and plugged it in to the Acer and it worked. Was the Acer cable bad? Nope. It worked fine on the old monitor. Just won't work with the Acer. As I mentioned in my earlier post my old cable had more pins than the new one....and yet the new one…
