  • Sorry for the late feedback, but I had some personal issues. Unfortunately, the BindTest solution did not solve the issue (seems to be normal as the KB looks dead). I did not have enough courage to dismantle the back of the tablet, this seems a little bit "long". I wouldn't have hesitated if It was the KB which is in any…
  • Thanks to you too @JackE (I didn't see your post when I posted my last answer, beacause of the new page) I salute treat sharing effort ;) I guess I will end up using an old corded keyboard... The only sure method to make this work =) all i need is a usb hub to free a port for other devices.
  • Muito obrigado for all this great effort @egydiocoelho ;) I will give it a try, but if I see that I'm near breaking the rest of the tablet (I know myself when It comes to DIY =) ) , I will stop. thanks again.
  • Ok thanks. Can you please provide me the previous steps or the whole document? I can't even distinguish the socle part (upside/downside) from the back of the LCD on the figure. Regards
  • Yes indeed. This keyboard was one of the reasons why I bought this device rather than another, as my laptops were always plugged to TV (HDMI). This option was the best as it doesn't require any additional cables or chargers. The strangest thing is that the battery did not show any weakness before. so I'm really wondering…
  • Seriously?! I thought one could pair any BT keyboard with any Windows laptop! or Acer does not do as they should? Even though this was the only solution, I'm not sure that paying 150$/€ for the same OEM buggy keyboard is a wise idea =) my keyboard is a french azerty
  • no, I didn't find any. I also tried to dismantle it, but removing the 6 screws was not enough. So I put them back and I'm waiting to find a nother solution (maybe just a cheap chinese BT keyboard).
  • Unfortunately, the laptop battery reset didn't help. I did it twice to be sure though :'(
  • Thanks buddy for both answers ;) I will put my feedback in the thread once the test is done. But it will be strange if the keyboard is KO suddenly without giving weakness signs before.
  • Obrigado for tha fast reply. I will test your suggestion within 3 hours when I get back home. But this "reset hole" is in the tablet side and concerns (I guess) the main battery. Does it affect also the keyboard battery (note that the reset is done while the device is off)? Is there any equivalent "reset" on the keyboard…
  • Thanks ahzriaz for your feedback. I've been using the Switch 12 for almost 2 months now without protection, the screen is still intact. note that the screen is in the opposite side of the keyboard on the switch 12
  • Thanks philetus, What I want to know (precisely) is the real state of the slate in 6 months, used almost on a daily basis. Would It be as slick/new as today, or some micro-scratches are somehow inévitable. This said, there's still nothing on the markets, unless one opts for cellophane
