  • Understood. So if the Hard drive is toast, there is no solution other than sending it to a service center? Probably cheaper to replace the entire chromebook. Thanks for your help.
  • The Chrome book responded as described in the solution and restarted. There was about a 10-15 second pause, then two beeps and it returned to the developer screen. I guess I didn't make it clear that I have replaced the hard drive. (Explained in a previous post). Thanks,
