  • So I got the specific driver from acer support for the monitor so instead of it saying plug in play it has x35 and the color profile. However this doesn't help change the issue and to be honest I see no discernable difference from with the driver and without the driver. I restarted my computer after the update

  • Thanks @Dirkscooby I'm happy you caught this. Perhaps I should of gotten the ASUS model instead of the X35 Predator. Hopefully Acer will be on top of this as well. If they do I'll stay with Acer for my next monitor purchase if not I'll definitely start looking elsewhere.
