  • It is definitely strange. I am wondering if the issue is with hardware rather than software (maybe a bad connection or faulty drive).
  • It has over the past two weeks or so. Before that it happened a couple times I'm November and then went away for a while after I disabled fast boot in the BIOS and Windows
  • The SSD disappears completely from all sources. BIOS boot order, F12 boot order, and it doesn't appear as an option to install Windows on from my recovery USB.
  • Unfortunately no, I don't have another M2 drive. Either way, using a different drive would require opening the system all the way up and I would prefer not to do that in the interest of not voiding the warranty by accident.
  • I turned the computer on and it booted normally for the first time in almost 24 hours, so I went ahead and did this immediately. There was an update available for Intel RST but the SSD firmware itself did not change. I will continue to monitor and see what happens.
  • The issue at the moment is that the SSD hasn't been detected for over 12 hours, even running a Windows install USB I can't do anything because the SSD is invisible. If by chance it does reappear that will be my first course of action.
  • Yes, I downloaded and ran as an administrator the Firmware Update for the SSD listed on Acer's site. I didn't see any install prompts after verifying that I wanted it to make changes to my device, but I gave it about 5 minutes and then restarted as per the README instructions.
  • The SSD is the Intel 760P and I am running BIOS 1.26. I have also done the SSD drivers update and RST hotfix listed on the drivers page. I don't know if I've done the NVME fix yet, but I'll try if I can get into it.
