Hi for anyone having a battery charge problem as myself with my chromebook(Acer) i did a chat an found out Acer an Google are in the process of creating a firmware update to hopefully solve the noncharge battery issue from the chat i learned it was possibly a corrupt version update.lets hope this can solve the issue.

  • Have you contacted Phonak support,if bluetooth recognises it there's maybe an update issue with the code.Maybe do a hard re-start of the Acer 14 shut off the ComPilot too give it 30seconds restart both an see if you get the same bluetooth error. Hope you can get it up an running.
  • The best way I have found to communicate with support is through text chat which bypasses all that phone spam.Only downside is where you are in the cue (your place in line)but the wait is worth it even if you don't find a solution.
  • Just a follow up there are a few things to try an they may have been posted in the past an these trouble shooting tips are available at google help to possibly reset the charging issue an in the beginning i thought it would be replacing the battery but it wasn't an that possibly a corrupt version update we'll see what…
  • If this is any help have communicated with support, i have an R11 which is holding at 43% an not charging anymore an i was told that google an Acer are working on a fix, but i would suggest calling or doing a chat with support because i don't know if this issue is across the board may depend on the model of chromebook.
