  • Oh hang onI actually toggled the "display hidden files" option halfway through writing my answer and went back to the bluetooth folder afterwards, turns out it had a dozen items with my headset name. Deleted them all, tried pairing again, and it suddenly works !
  • No, all good in device manager. The bluetooth folder only contains "Bluetooth USB Volume", which appears up to date, and the network adapter folder doesn't have any subfolder.
