  • MWB has been uninstalled, and fast startup is disabled to no avail. I'm working on getting an external hard drive at this point, so I can later try seeing if a clean reinstall of Windows 10 will help. I don't think all of my apps are updated for Windows 11 so that's out of the question for the time being
  • Apologies for that, I kinda panicked when I saw I couldn't reply to this haha I'm trying the uninstall now. And for now, I've been using a third-party app for the visuals for my caps lock and such, though I'd still like to get my Acer software functioning again.
  • I do have a third-party animalware app called Malwarebytes. And I did use it after I found out there was an issue hoping that it was just because of a virus or malware, which it did find some but none that fixed my problem. Other than that, there aren't any others.
  • It is on but there isn't any restore points, unfortunately. So I don't think that's the method I had used. I dug around, and I remembered the method I used. I went into settings>windows updater>uninstall updates, and then I chose the most recent one in the menu to uninstall.
  • I think so? The main way to do so in settings is unavailable now on my laptop, so I believe the control panel is where I had done so. Basically manually rolling it back, I suppose. My issues started after the initial update, and nothing changed with my issues when rolling back, and neither when my laptop just…
  • It was a Win10 update. That's when the issues started, and then I tried rolling back to my previous version. It didn't fix anything and my laptop just automatically updated itself again. And that's the full gist of things about how my issues started. Part of me feels maybe the update corrupted my OS or some Win10 related…
  • I did, I had iTunes on my laptop since I got it so I could transfer new custom ringtones and such to my iPhone and iPad. And it never had issues up until recently when I did try updating Windows to the latest version, which is when this all started. iTunes also worked fine up until that point and it now won't reinstall…
  • Okay, so I've made a new discovery. I was having issues with iTunes on my laptop and tried reinstalling it. According to the iTunes installer, it thinks I don't have Windows 10 at all. Could that be linked to my issue with the Acer apps?
  • All had been disabled, and for a moment Care Center acted like it was actually going to open the installation menu, but then nothing happened like before. Quick Access unfortunately still prematurely quits as well. It seemed like it was gonna work! Then it basically said 'sike' haha
  • After a recent Windows 10 update, my caps lock visual prompt had stopped working. I noticed it was due to something being turned off or corrupted through an Acer app and I have been trying to use Quick Access to fix my visual prompt issue, but it would sit there loading forever and then Windows will say it isn't…
  • I do wanna mention now that I've tested it that I installed a new audio driver from here on Acer's site, because I had wanted to for a while. That one installed just fine. So as far as I know now, it's only Care Center and Quick Access
  • That was real interesting to try! I was confident it would work, but Care Center still doesn't even pull up the installation wizard, and Quick Access still 'prematurely stops' when I try to install it. Not even if I try to run as administrator. I guess I may have to do a clean reinstallation of Windows completely? I think…
  • I unchecked it, and also noticed all my options for power were to always go in sleep mode, so I fixed that as well. After turning it on for a cold boot, and letting it sit to finish booting up completely. Acer Quick Access is still gone from it being uninstalled, and attempted to reinstall. I still get the 'prematurely…
  • That did the trick getting the old version off my laptop! Though, the updated version still doesn't pull up the installation wizard at all. I tried restarting my laptop and making sure Windows was up-to-date to no avail.
  • I've tried installing Quick Access again and this is the error it gives me;
  • I realized Care Center never actually uninstalled trying this, and attempting to uninstall the old version gives me this error; The setup.exe for the new version does not bring up the setup wizard anymore. After verifying it to allow changes, nothing happens.
