I have the same problem. I had to download a volume app to manually control the volume. The only problem is I couldn't take screenshot. You have 2 choice, 1) download a volume app & forget screenshot capabilities. 2) send it in to get it fix.

I did a factory reset, but the volume buttons and the screenshot capabilities works when ever it feels like, like 1 in 20 attempt. I know its not a software issue because the volume app I downloaded works well in controlling the volume. I think it's a hardware issues with the volume button its self. It's still under…

Yes, I shut it down and reboot it. No change. If I reset my tablet, will I need to reinstale my apps that I downloaded? Also, will this effect data on my Sdcard? Should I remove the sdcard first? Another thing, if I have a problem with my main google account sign in. Would that effect accessing updates?
