  • Okay I am trying to say is that I have met the requirements. I also got the okay from Microsoft. The thing doesn't light up. Acer Tech support says, without asking a question, I gotta send it to them cause it is defective. I sent that back, I got a second headset, same problem. The original post here is the same problem.

  • The first link only shows Acer Laptops. Are you saying you think that the ACER headset only works with Acer laptops? Seems like if I run the compatibility program from Microsoft, and get the "your good" then the compatibility issue is solved or am I thinking wrong?
  • I bought one of these on amazon, installed and had the same problem. I do not have an ACER laptop but I got the okiedokie from compatibility check from Microsoft. I played with this all day trying to get it to work finally calling ACER tech support. I would have expected a whole bunch of questions on what i had done and…
