  • Im glad it worked, As you said, this is caused if the RAM isnt seated correctly into its slot. P.S: you should click the yes button so your post moves to the "SOLVED" category. Have a good day
  • @Hemanth021 Can you try to do so while your wifi and bluetooth are off please Disconnect anything thats connected to it via USB or Lan, etc. Disable start up programs that might run in the background which might have admin privilages that are keeping your PC awake (while they are running). You can check the start up…
  • Its not normal, people will tell you that its okay. Just dont listen to them, if you really care about your laptop just undervolt and most imortantly repaste your thermal paste with grizzly kryonaut (both CPU and GPU + the heat sink where it makes contact with the CPU and GPU). Also, clean your fans, it makes a big…
  • I think I know what can solve it but ill need some more info regarding your laptop. Please post your specs such as : GPU CPU RAM these are the main ones. And what temps do you hit on Idle and what temps do you hit when you game on your Laptop *please turn on predator sense while you game and max out your fans* (a heavy…
  • You can Use XTU or ThrottleStop, both gave me similar results, though ive seen that some prefer ThrottleStop over XTU. (BTW) just so you know, If you decide to use ThrottleStop you either launch the program each time you turn on your laptop or you use task scheduler so itll auto start it whenever you turn on your PC. As…
  • Thats what I was saying for the last 2 years to myself. Ive seen threads about the "does repasting void warranty?" The answer is, it depends on the country. You can contact Acer in your country if there is any in the first place. (In Bulgaria they dont even have a single official Acer store which is dumb if you ask me).…
  • I didnt target you specifically and you did say that its not preferable however that is not the answer to his question. He needs a solution and not an opinion. Im not here to oppose you but we need straight and direct solutions if available. Have a good day mate.
  • Guys, this is getting silly and simply Out Of Control Ill be straight forward, IT IS NOT normal if your laptop hits 95 C Now then, you can either listen to these people (no offence to anyone) who keep saying, DONT WORRY about it, these laptops are made to withstand high temps. OR you can listen to someone like me and…
  • Hey bud, Im almost certain its one of these 3 problems, 1. 90-100C is not okay, I had that until 2 days ago, DO NOT listen to anyone who says that your laptop can handle it and that it is designed to withstand those temps. That is just stupid. Ive heard that over 100 times. I have to say this just in case, "Do it at your…
  • I appreciate all the comments and suggestions, Would like to say though, I really would want you to stop saying that these laptops are made in a way to withstand these temperatures (95C). I can guarantee you that it is NOT okay if you hit anything above 85 C, especially above 90 C. (DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, IM NOT…
  • @egydiocoelho I unplugged the AC, turned off my Laptop. Pressed and held the pinhole for around 5-10 seconds, however it didn't fix my problem. I know it was just a suggestion but thanks anyways. Anything might work, you never know :D

  • I agree, I also believe that if it was the cable ribbon, it should have affected more than one key... But ill try to open it and detach the cable ribbon and connect it again. Ill also take a look if something else looks unusual, though I've never personally opened laptops before. I wont just buy the key cap if I don't fix…
