  • Update - 2 days after i got pc back from service for 2nd time (coz only thing which they did was windows reinstall) it started freezing again - i waited 30 mins with pc in this state, but nothing happened, cant register error in any way. i downloaded newest nvdia drivers, bios is 1,16,windows is at 1809 or whatever is newest…
  • Also no problems here with 417.35,working fine
  • I mean hard freeze, only option to make it working again was force reboot on power button. Regardless of BIOS,be it 1.06 , 1.14 or 1.16 laptop was getting random freezes. Same for gpu drivers,be it newest or older drivers,i were getting freezes. Same for windows ,both on 1803 and 1809. It was happening from very first days…
  • I sent pc to warranty service for 2nd time, and again...only thing which was done windows reset,pc got "fixed" literally in one day and they think it works fine,so i dont know if this is just sloppiness or i cant describe it properly (apparently they were not able to recreate error after 24h,even when i included previous…

Overall it sounds like some factory defect, but since warranty service not…
  • Hope this time it will work for you and issue will be finally solved.
  • Small update,i also send my pc to acer service...was working fine for 2 weeks, exactly also thing they did was windows reset, yet it started freezing again,be it idle, gaming or anything,1 freeze yesterday, and 3 in a row in like a 30-70 mins....im slowly out of ideas what to do next and im just solely disappointed that there…
  • In past problem occured both with predator sense installed on pc and removed,i knew there was some cases with Predator sense eating horrendous amounts of ram but it was never problem for me.
  • Sadly problem still occurs from time to time,so far i tried Updating windows to 1803 and get all updates Newest nvidia drivers PC mark 10/3dmark tests (but i dont think that will help in any way) system recovery memory ram test (or how it is called) Happens mainly during gaming, both CPU and GPU temperatures are ok…
  • Ok ill try registry cleaner thing later. Yes i have latest nvdia drivers.
  • No,not doing anything like this also not tried as i dont know too much about this ^^.
  • Sadly system recovery and reinstalling everything not helped, nor removing predator sense, model of laptop is PH517-51,honestly dont have idea what is the reason.
