How can I configure my Windows smartphone to automatically save to my SD card?

You can configure your phone to save apps, downloads, music, or pictures to your SD card instead of the internal memory on your phone. Use the steps below to change the default storage location.

Open the Settings menu on your phone.
Tap System.
Tap Storage.
Change the default location for each item from This Device to SD card.
