What is Wi-Fi Sense and can I disable it if I do not want to use it?
Wi-Fi Sense is a Windows 10 feature that automatically connects you to Wi-Fi so you can get online quickly. This allows your computer to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots it knows about through crowdsourcing, or to networks shared by your contacts.
Use the following steps to disable Wi-Fi Sense:
- Click the Start
menu and select Settings.
- Click Network & Internet.
- Click Manage Wi-Fi settings from the Wi-Fi menu.
- Move the toggles to Off for the options Connect to suggested open hotspots and Connect to networks shared by my contacts.
