Windows Bitlocker encryption message when inserting a USB device

If you receive a Windows Bitlocker encryption message when you insert a USB drive or connect a USB device, Acer recommends downloading and installing BIOS version 1.09 (or later).

Use the following steps to download BIOS version 1.09.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select the BIOS tab, then click the Download link for BIOS version 1.09 (or later).
Once the download is complete, locate and run the Setup.exe file.
