How can I change the size of the text and icons in Windows?

This article only applies to: Windows 7 and Windows 8

You can adjust the size of text and icons in Windows to make them larger or smaller, according to your preferences.

Use the following steps to to change the icons and text size.

Press the Windows () key + D to switch to your desktop.
Right click on the desktop.
Select Screen resolution.
Select Make text and other items larger or smaller.
Choose your preference and then click Apply.
