How can I turn my Acer ebii e-bike on or off?
There are 2 ways to power your Acer ebii e-bike on and off:
- With the buttons on the handlebar.
- Via the ebiiGO app.
How to power the ebii e-bike on and off via the ebiiGO app
Before you can use the ebiiGO app to power your Acer ebii e-bike on and off, you need to download, install and set up the ebiiGO app on your smartphone. For instructions, refer to How to Set Up the Acer ebiiGO App on Your Smart Device.
When you have installed the ebiiGO app on your smartphone, you remain logged into the app. As you are logged into the ebiiGO app, your Acer ebii e-bike automatically:
- Powers ON when you approach your ebii e-bike.
- Powers OFF when you walk away from your ebii e-bike.
If you do not have your smartphone with you or you are not using the ebiiGO app for whatever reason, you can also power your e-bike on and off manually. For instructions on how to power your e-bike on and off manually, refer to the instructions below.
How to power on the ebii e-bike manually
- Locate the buttons on the left and right side of the handlebar. Refer to the image below.
- Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for 1 second. Your Acer ebii e-bike will now power on and the current battery level is displayed on the display.
How to power off the ebii e-bike manually
- Locate the buttons on the left and right side of the handlebar. Refer to the top image above.
- Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display will now turn off and with that your Acer ebii e-bike is completely powered off.
