- Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches that may cause the search and notification panel to become unresponsive.
- Run the Windows Troubleshooter:
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙.
- Click on System and select Troubleshoot.
- Click on Other troubleshooters.
- Click on Run for the Search and Indexing troubleshooter.
- Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter and let the system run its course.
- Once the troubleshooter is done, restart your computer. If the issue persists, try running the troubleshooter again.
- Check for Windows Updates:
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙.
