How can I enable the Trend Micro Home Network Security on my Acer Predator Connect W6?
The built-in Trend Micro Home Network Security software on your Acer Predator Connect W6 offers lifetime security protection. This software comes with the following features:
Malicious sites blocking
Malicious website blocking can prevent you from visiting malicious websites thereby protecting your computers from being infected with Trojans or being exploited unknowingly.
Network attack blocking
Network attack blocking can help prevent the exploitation of a known vulnerability even when your vulnerable system/device have not yet been installed with security patches.
IoT security protection
IoT security protection can detect and block your computer from making harmful connections to compromised IoT devices by using Trend Micro’s Smart Protection Network; a continuously updated IoT device reputation database.
By default, the Home Network Security feature is disabled. To enable this feature, refer to How to Enable the Home Network Security Feature on Your Acer Predator Connect W6.
Note: For security reasons, it is not possible to install other security software than the preinstalled Trend Micro Home Network Security on the Acer Predator Connect W6.
