Windows 11 allows to copy multiple items to your clipboard and stores them in your clipboard history. You can also share items you copy with your other Windows devices. All you have to do is turn on clipboard history and syncing, then login to your devices using the same Microsoft or Work account. Use the instructions below to access your clipboard settings to turn these features on or off.
How to access your clipboard history in Windows 11
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings.
- Click System and then select Clipboard.
- Click the toggle for Clipboard History to turn it On.
- Once your clipboard history is enabled, you can press Windows ⊞ + V to access all of your clipboard items.
How to sync your clipboard in windows 11
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings.
- Click System and then select Clipboard.
- Click the toggle for Sync across all devices to turn it On.
- Select Automatically sync text that I copy. Your clipboard will now automatically sync to other devices when you use that same login.
How to clear your clipboard
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings.
- Click System and then select Clipboard.
- Click the Clear button next to Clear clipboard data.
