How to Download a Battery Report in Windows 11

Windows 11 allows you to download a complete battery report that shows details about your battery to help monitor battery performance. The battery report will show your battery specifications, recent usage and history of usage, and the battery capacity history over time. Use the instructions below to download a detailed battery report.

How to get a battery report in Windows 11

Click on Search 🔎, then type cmd and press Enter.
Type in powercfg /battery report and press Enter. This will create a report that automatically saves on your C drive.
To view the battery report, go to C:\Users\(username here)\battery-report.html and double-click the file named battery-report.html.
