Windows 11 has built-in features that allow you to monitor your battery usage to help you save power and extend the life of your battery. You can view your Power and Battery settings to see what apps and programs are using the most battery power. Use the instructions below to check your power and battery settings and see how much battery each app is using.
How to see which apps are affecting your battery life
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙, or use Windows + I to quickly open Settings.
- Select System, and then click on Power and Battery.
- Click on Battery Usage to expand that section.
- Scroll down to Battery Usage per App and you will see a list of apps and the percentage of battery they are using.
