- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙, or use Windows + I to quickly open Settings.

Method 1: Change your wireless network name using settings:
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙, or use Windows + I to quickly open Settings.
- Select the Network and Internet tab.
- Click on Advanced Network Settings.
- Under the Network Adapters tab click Wifi.
- Scroll down to rename this adapter and click rename.
- Enter your new network name and click save.
Method 2: Edit your wireless network name using the command prompt:
- Press the Windows key ⊞ + R to open then command prompt.
- Type cmd and press Enter.
- Type ipconfig and press Enter.
- This will show your router’s IP address, listed as default gateway.
- Next, paste the IP address directly into your browser address bar and press Enter.
- Log in as administrator.
- Go to settings and then Wifi name.
- Enter your new network name.
