The taskbar sits at the bottom of your screen and lets you access the start menu and frequently used and currently open apps. Windows 11 aligns the taskbar and start menu to the center by default. You can change the alignment to the left side of the screen like in previous versions Windows using the instructions below.
- Right-click in the taskbar and choose Taskbar settings.
- In the taskbar settings menu, click on Taskbar Behaviors.
- Use the dropdown menu next to Taskbar Alignment and change the setting to Left.
