How do I set which programs Windows uses by default in Windows 11?

You can use the following steps to set which programs Windows uses by default to open files.

Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings⚙.
Select Apps from the left menu.
Click on Default apps.
Choose a program that you want to use then Set default file types or link types.
