How can I install a M.2 SSD drive to increase the system performance of my Acer notebook?

Some Acer products include a M.2 expansion slot that allows for installation of a solid state drive. Use the steps below to install a secondary drive in your system.

PRECAUTION

Backup all important data on your system before starting this procedure. Acer is not responsible for lost data.
Acer recommends use of an anti-static grounding strap when adding hardware to your system.
