Why is my laptop Helios 300 (1060M / i7 8th gen / 16 go) shutdowns after 10/15 min of playing a game

Ok so I have used this laptop for about 2 years without any problems. However it now seems that everytime i try to play a game (any games even low demending games like league in the lower graphic settings), it ends up shutting down the pc with a weird click sound. After it shuts down i am not able to turn it on for about 3-4 min as if it had to cool down. After this time lapse, the pc turns back on, and instantly shutdowns again with the same small sound (even before the predator screen has the time to show up).It will do this 2 or 3 times and then finaly turn on.

I have tried cpu streetest for 10 minutes and no crashes occured, i changed the thermal paste 2 days ago and i cleaned my fans by the same occasion. Futhermore i have tried a gpu stresstest and it crashed as the gpu reached between 95 degrees. The thing is that i am just playing league in the lowest settings as I mentionned previously and its working perfectly, until it randomly crashes. Please i really need your help friends, i can’t figure it out by myself ;(

Try to change the PSU(Power Supply Unit) and check it. When PSU failed to provide a stable power or it’s insufficient, your computer cannot work normally and even cause damage to the hardware. Most of the time when a computer SHUTS DOWN unexpectedly when playing games, it’s the PSU.

One of the main reasons for an older laptop is because your laptop overheats and the laptop automatically shuts down for safety reasons, especially if you haven't repasted the cpu/gpu with a top paste (like some of the top CPU Pastes see this guide) and/or cleaned and checked the fans if they are performing 100%, as the fans and paste is essential to keeping your cpu/gpu cool, also, use a tablet cooler. Or it could be because of what Chandran_360 is saying and it could be your PSU. Check your temps when playing games and clean and repaste your cpu/gpu.
