Hello everyone, I am in complete mess where fresh installation of windows isn't fixing earphones detection issue on my predator. Now my only hope is reverting back to Factory image. Unfortunately I don't have one :(
Could someone be kind enough to share his/her Acer Predator Helios 300 - PH315-51 recovery image?

Is that headphones working on other units? was it working on this unit before?

Did you try the reset with Alt f10.? internal reset.
    1. Navigate to Settings. ...
    2. Select "Update & security"
    3. Click Recovery in the left pane. ...
    4. Click Get started under Reset this PC. local reinstall
    5. Click Remove everything. ->fully clean my drive->Reset.
    6.

Thanks for reply, actually this issue isn't limited to a particular unit, nothing is getting detected. Speaker works fine though.

Yes the first thing I did was make use of internal reset method to clean wipe everything which didn't resolve the issue.
I also tried the second method using windows 10 media creation tool, downloading fresh copy of windows 10 perform a clean upgrade but that didn't work either.

Just to add-on, 3.5 mm jack is working fine. I've tried installing multiple drivers and there was this one weird driver which would make my speaker and earphone work simultaneously as a result my earphone was working again but at the same time speaker was also working. :(

yes 3.5mm jack should be working on the laptop. it looks like the jack issue. not the drivers or software issue.  only if its port issues we might have dual audio in speakers and earphones.

Apologies if I caused some misunderstanding, what I am trying to say is the jack is working fine.

While troubleshooting i stumbled upon this driver https://www.realtek.cz/download-driver-nr-454-for-realtek-ALC270-and-Windows10-64bit.html which makes my speaker and earphones work simultaneously which confirms jack is working fine. After installing this driver I can hear audio from earphones again but at the same time speaker too is producing audio.
