overheating SF714-52T-77B0

in Swift and Spin Series
hello I got the swift 7 model SF714-52T-77B0 and I like it a lot but I am worried that it gets very hot to the right side, I have seen my consoles die like that, so I want to know it it is normal or not that it gets hot like that, someone else with the same computer could tell me if it gets hot at that side too?, so that I can know if I have to send it to guarantee, any info is appreciated

    The three temperatures shown are one sensor for the processor chip and one more for each processor core. Those numbers look just fine. I'm not sure where the TZ01 temperature sensor is located, it might be on the GPU section instead of the CPU. Do they change substantially while the charger is connected? I'd expect them to go higher, but not a low higher, while charging. For instance if you were running around 45°C with normal use on the battery and you plugged the charger in and the temperature then rose to 65°C over the next few minutes that would be perfectly normal. If instead it hit 65°C in a few seconds or went up past 80°C that would be abnormal.
    Finally I'd see what could be done to look at what the outside of the case is at when at it's hottest, since that's where you are experiencing the heat. You might be able to use one of those no touch sensors to see what your forehead is at... I'd say higher than 55-60°C is probably in the range of 'too hot' and could lead to skin burns of kept in contact for too long.

    Open Task manager, go to Performance section and check the CPU and GPU temp and usage

    "Very hot" is a bit subjective, that's why we're asking for actual temperatures. HWMonitor is one app you can use to view temperatures, I use Core Temp myself since it's a bit smaller. Once we know the CPU temperatures you are seeing we can make suggestions as to what might be causing the heat you feel.

    hello, actually today it  hasnt been overheating, it looks like it only happens when the battery is charging, now I wonder if that is normal for the battery

    Your SF714-52T uses the USB-C ports on the right side for charging, so there is a fair amount of power flowing through. I wouldn't be surprised to see additional heat around that area when charging. To tell if the heat level is abnormal we'd still want to look at what the temperatures in the rest fo the system are at.

    used the HWmonitor but I don't really know what the results mean
