How to attach monitor's USB ports to computer for CZ380CQK (or similar XR382CQK)?

Hi there -

I recently bought a curved 37.5" monitor that has four USB Type A ports on the back left (when facing the monitor). My understanding is that to use those ports, I need to connect the monitor to my computer using a USB Type-A to Type-B cable (which came with the monitor); from doing some research online, it seems that for most monitors this is done by connecting the Type-B end of the cable to the monitor and the Type-A end to one of the USB ports on the computer. The problem is that I'm not seeing any USB Type-B port on the monitor. I've checked the bottom-facing ports a few times now (where the video connectors reside) but there's nothing there, and I'm not seeing a Type-B port elsewhere.

Can anyone help explain how to connect those four USB ports on my monitor to my computer? I considered the possibility that perhaps the Type-A end of the cable connects to the monitor and that they Type-B end is supposed to connect to the computer, but that would be very unusual since computers typically only have Type-A ports.

Thanks!

There are different port types for different USB versions. IIRC yours uses a USB-C cable to connect to the computer.

Thanks @billsey. That makes sense. I got fooled by the fact that they included a USB Type-A to Type-B cable.  =) Looks like I need to buy a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, since my desktop doesn't have a USB-C port. Oh well...

Yep, the USB-C design doesn't use a different connector for each end like USB 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.1 did. You can even plug it in upside down and it'll work the same as always. :)
