Hi,
I just got my new Nitro 5 a couple us days back and alrady im stuck. im stuck in safe mode. When i got the pc i opted for using the pin, hey its quicked and more convenient so convenient that i seems to not remember the password, safe mode Only accepts the password and not the pin, beats me Why.  So here i am and cant get out of safe mode becuase Each time i restart the pc it starts in safe mode. I have tried to enter the advanced rescue mode and have succeded in that, but EVERY single option there that could possibly give you an exit Asks for the Password which i dont know...So im not only stuck but Trapped also. The pc did not come with any restore disk or anything at all. I have made a bootable USB with windows 10 on, ive tried booted from it but the folk at Acer have been kind enough to give me a PC i Cant bloody boot from a USB on. In the bios there is no way i can find where to enable boot from bios.

Ive been suspicious about windows 10 for a long time and just refused to use it, Now that i have it i know why. It Sucks Big time. Im actually quite Angry about this. THIS IS NOT WHAT I SPENT 2500 EUROS for kind of Headache. They havent even bothered to think fully or maybe the reasoning went like...."What about if a customer goes into safe mode and have forgotten the password, what then? Mayby provide a Simple solution Ooor maybe Not, lets do Maybe NOT that seems the rig right thing to do!"

So here i am stuck in a Safely padded cell and cant get out, and i thought i was going to get a room at the Ritz.

Any help will be Very very much appreciated.

How do i even reinstall the os if need be when USB is not enabled, there is no way to get any data into the pc unless your on the other side of the password?

Thanks! -******

You can recover your Acer computer by pressing Alt + F10 as soon as your computer starts booting up. Use the following steps to restore the your computer to factory defaults.

    1. Press and hold the Power key for 5 seconds to power the system off completely.
    2. Press the Power key to turn on the computer.
    3. Press the Alt and F10 keys at the same time when the Acer logo appears on the screen. Your system should boot to a blue screen that says Choose an option.
    4. Select Troubleshoot.
    5. Click Reset your PC. This process will erase all data on the your system. Choose the Refresh your PC option if you want to restore your system and retain your data.
    6. Click Next, then select Just remove my files.
    7. Click Reset to begin the recovery.

    Hi,
I have an old Acer Aspire 4983G which i bought in 2011, on that laptop when i start in safe mode the wifi works but on my Acer Nitro 5 AN517-52 the wifi never works.
Does anyone know if that how its going to be or if there is something that can be done? When i start safe mode i always does it with the Network enabled option but still it does not help.

Id be grateful for any pointers here.
