Hello!

I recently buy Acer monitor model XB273U. I use it with my laptop(Asus Zephyrus S GX502 with RTX2070) via HDMI. When i just bought it i didn't have any issue. Until new nvidia driver release. So after driver update i found that when i turn on computer when windows starts, monitor can't find signal until re-plug HDMI or change from windows active display(default is set to second screen which is Acer). That's not cable issue, i tried other cables, it's not laptop port issue because i tested other monitors and i believe it's also not a monitor technical issue because on my macbook issue doesn't reproduce.

Interesting thing is that if i downgrade to last working nvidia driver(v 457.09) issue disappear. Also even on new drivers if i turn display to 60Hz from 144Hz issue doesn't reproduce. I tried other monitor with 144Hz issue doesn't reproduce.

I tried to find fix on internet but nothing work for me.

Can someone help me with this weird and annoying issue?

Unplug all wires at the back of the unit including the power cable and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and connect all wire back and check on it

Strange. whats the resolution for the 144hz. try the above steps and make sure it has the sequence that the monitor has to be on always and then the computer.

    Accept if its Helpful.   B)

It sounds to me like it's an issue with the GPU drivers, nothing really to do with the hardware. Make sure NVIDIA knows about it so they can fix it in the next update.

    It's 2k, 2560x1440

One other thing which i found today. If i turn pc into sleep and i don't wait until the monitor goes to sleep and i turn on from sleep the PC issue is not present. So the issue reproduce only on 144hz and when both the PC and monitor goes in sleep or turn off mode
