  • Hi,
You can install a M.2 NVMe SSD up to 512GB but larger SSD might work but haven't seen anyone else installed it, most of the other users are using WD PC SN520 512GB SSD(PCIe 3.0x2).

@Ez111 that model is a little too new for us to have detailed specs, but I thought most models came with a SSD already installed. Does yours have a HDD instead?

The reason i want to upgrade it because my laptop come with small storage which is 237gb only. If i could add on the second one it will be better but i dont know i can add on the second one or not. This laptop come with SDD.

As far as I can tell so far it has only one M.2 slot. That slot does support PCIe x4, so you can have a fast NVMe drive. I'd say your best bet at this point is to replace the existing 256GB drive with a larger one (I have a 2TB M.2 NVMe drive in my desktop and it wasn't too expensive). Pick up a drive the size you can afford and an external NVMe case with USB interface then clone to internal drive to the new one. Swap the drives after the cloning and it should boot from the new big drive. Once it's booted on the big drive reconnect the old drive in the external case, wipe all the partitions off and use it as an external.
