v3-571g 1920x1080 Screen upgrade

After a lot if searching around I decided just to register and ask here to see if anyone could help.

I have an Acer Aspire v3-571g73638g1tmakk with a dim 15.6" 1366X768 screen, I'd like to upgrade to a 1920x1080 FHD screen but am unsure as to whether or not I should purchase a screen that doesn't specifically state it's compatible with this model.

I understand I need a 15.6", 40pin, bottom left connector screen and have found seemingly compatible ones online but some assistance or guidance on selecting a suitable screen would put my mind at ease.

That is of course if this model is even capable of outputting 1920x1080.

Any additional information would be appreciated.

Hi,
Yes, another member has upgraded to a FHD panel in this model, you have to buy eDP cable, new LCD cover and brackets in addition to the new panel, please read posts in this thread:v3-571g screen upgrade — Acer Community

Thanks brummy, it's a shame that I can't just swap out the screen but I've got what I need to start going ahead with this now so your help is appreciated. Not sure how I missed this post in the forum so apologies for the repost.
