    Size of the drive won't make any difference. If it works with NVMe x4 on a 250GB drive it'll work with NVMe x4 on a 2TB drive. I'm thinking it most likely that it really only supports SATA 3 drives...
    I bought m.2 128gb nvme x2 just to experiment, if it works, great if it doesn't too bad. I'll let you know tomorrow as I'm awaiting shipment. I don't think it will work as there is only single channel designated for sata interface setup in bios. My bios allows to enable/disable SATA drive only and i think I'm running 1.03 bios version, don't know if that matters though.

    Hello,

    SATA support for M.2 is relevant.
    Sharing fails and successes with adding additional M.2 SSD harddrive;

    Not compatible(not working); Intel SSD 660p 512Gb & 1Tb nVME (trough M.2 slot).
    Compatible (working); WD Blue 2TB (B+M slot).

    The difference/reason is the compatibility and use of SATA. The Intel M.2(both) wont be recognised by the bios or windows on the Acer Swift SF114-32.

    Above results are based on actual testing.
    Hope it helps with other people there good interest of expanding internal-harddrive storage of the Acer Swift 1 | SF114-32, but the WD Blue M.2 2Tb is recognised and works like a charm.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,
    Wanted to share my findings, upon installation of M.2 128gb Nvme x2 B&M Key new SSD memory the card isn't recognized.
    I think my P2pk model will not accept NVME thus everybody else's so if you're looking to upgrade your storage you'll have to stay within M.2 SATA interface for your computer to be able to recognize new disk therefore I call quits as the results are conclusive. Good luck everyone,

    Guys, i wonder is  100% fit; '3* Amazon example'
    All 3 models seem to support SATA technology.

    Read the return-policy of Amazon. SSD-hdd's are mostly sealed for single-opening-package. When not working, testing at your local computer shop could be a few dollars more expensive but easier-return-able when you explain your situation.

    I upgraded my new (used) swift sf114-32-p2pk with a generic sata III 256 gig drive. I googled M.2 2880 and it led me to an $18.00 unit on Amazon, which I ordered. I put it in (my big surprise was that there wasn't a drive in the bay, so the original 64 gig eMMC must be hidden somewhere). I turned the machine on, entered the bios, set the boot drive, and saved. I had an ISO of Linux Mate 22.04 in the USB 2. It booted up, loaded liinux (it took a while), and everything worked. So happy with Mate on this machine.

    The eMMC drives are soldered to the motherboards on machines that use them…
