Bluetooth issues - help! chromebook 314

Hi, 

I have a chromebook 314 and having issues connecting both my iPhone and airpods. I know the Bluetooth does work as I can go from playing spotify on my phone to on the Chromebook by selecting it as a device on the spotify app. When I go to connect my phone /airpods outside of using spotify, they both never come up in the list of devices :( Please help!

    The Chrome book Bluetooth might not connect to the iPhone because of  the different OS. So there might be a compatibility issue.
    But if it was working earlier than you can try to do a hard reset on the chrome book.
    1. Turn off your Chromebook.
    2. Press and hold Refresh  + tap Power . 
    3. When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh .
