Acer Aspire 5742zg BIOS

Member Posts: 3 New User

Hi there. A few days ago I made a huge mistake. I disabled the hyperthreading in BIOS mode. Since then my laptop has black screen(of death). The power buton is on, but nothing happens. I've tried to flush a new bios by Crisis Disk and Fn+Esc, but nothing worked so far, I've tried in a hell alot uf ways. Then I've decided to remove my VMOS(RTC) battery but it is soldered and I can't remove it. I'm out of any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.
 Thanks in advance.

I assume that Up means all is working as advertised.

What did you do to solve your problem?
