So I’m getting the no boot devices found and when I go into the bios. Under the boot menu there are no devices in the priority list, even when i have my USB in that has the windows installer. I’ve tried everything to get it to recognize something and it won’t. I have a Nitro 5 laptop.

in the bios, set an admin password then enable the f12 boot option.   On the assumption the usb is bootable, restart with the usb drive plugged in (i have had an odd issue where it boots from one usb port, but not all ports, so might be worth trying a different port if you are 100% its bootable) and tap away on the f12 key and you should see the usb drive selectable as a bootable device. (i take it this is for an clean install with a windows .iso and created withe the media creation tool from MS's site)

Hey so I did this and I’m having no luck. No matter what I do I can’t get my bios to recognize anything as a bootable device. I even went and reset the CMOS battery and still nothing. Any other tips maybe?

well, if you have access to another pc, does this definately boot?  personally i'd also try it with another usb stick using the media creation tool too.

    HI,
I've the same problem with my Aspire XC-603 and I applied a lot more devices: a sata drive which works as boot device in another PC, USB based Floppy drives and CD-ROMs and a USB stick with bootable UBUNTU.
And  I got nothing in any Priority list!
But if I try to use the LAN as boot device it pops up in the related Priority list!
But this is not my favorite approach to install a new OS.
    Any ideas?
    Regards C.
