Hi i have a Acer predator G3-710, CPU: i5-7400 and a GTX 1060 Founders Edition
I have tried all the Serial numbers from all parts including the outer case and for some reason my motherboard stated is not the one i actually have. I seem to have some unknown motherboard. Which has two M2 slots. One has a midget wifi M2 and the other slot is definitely a full sized M2 slot. However on CPU-ID nothing is showing up for either of the M2 slots. Help me please. I purchased my PC in mid 2017 from Currys

Does HWinfo tell you what make / model it is?

As you can see, it does not tell me the mother board name. or model. I want to find the Manufacturers manual which explains all the motherboard features such as: M2 slot maximum bandwidth and the highest CPU model of intel it can take and whether it can take a K-series chip. Also there are many connectors on the motherboard and i want to know what each one does

So that specific info is only available in the  service manual i think, odd that its not detecting the motherbaord type. Hopefully one of the ACE's have a nosey, if not ping them, as they have access to this info :) I dont think acer publish it

At a guess, the chipset its detected does top out at the 7th gen, so you may get away with a 7700, but i'd wait for an ACE to confirm :)

Try this for info, does it match your board?:
